Sebastian Huppmann

 was born in Vienna. His education began early as soloist with the Mozart Boys Choir Vienna. He studied at the Vienna Conservatory with honors and is the winner of various international competitions.

 

The baritone embodied so far more than thirty roles.

His repertoire includes roles as Don GiovanniPapageno (Magic Flute),

Conte and Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Guglielmo (Cosi fan tutte),

Dr. Falke (the Bat), the title role in D.Milhauds The Prodigal Son,

Escamillo (Carmen), Lindoro (Haydn: LePescatrici ) and many others,

In concert he sang numerous oratorios as  "Kreuzstab Cantata",  

"Ich habe genug",  "Johns Passion"  by Bach,  "Messiah" by Handel,

"Petite messe solennelle" by Rossini, "Te Deum" by Chapentier etc.

 

Recent engagements include the Metropolitan Theatre Tokyo, Christmas in Vienna, NationalOpera Odessa, Vienna Chamber Opera, Koninklijke Schouwburg DenHaag, Luxor Theater Rotterdam, Concert Hall Moscow, Taipei National Theatre, Stockholm Concert Hall, Meragon Mousikis Athens, Vienna State Opera,

the Carinthian Summer Festival, Arena Baden, the Biennale Zagreb,

Kawasaki Hall Tokyo, Opera Klosterneuburg, and many more.
